ABOUT JTHOOR

JTHOOR was born from a question in every home: how do their language and faith stay with them?

Far from home, so much grows — and we fear a language and an identity might grow smaller. JTHOOR is a quiet space that keeps that bond alive in a child's heart.

WHY JTHOOR EXISTS

Because roots aren't inherited by chance — they're retold every day.

Many of our children live between two languages and two worlds. They master the language of the place they grow up in, while Arabic — the language of their mother and their Qur'an — stays a little farther than we'd wish.

We built JTHOOR to close that distance gently: activities that make Arabic something lived rather than memorised, and Islamic learning that ties knowledge to meaning, in one journey a child walks with confidence.

We don't want to burden the child, but to make them feel that their language and faith are a warm home to return to — wherever they are.

OUR MISSION

We plant knowledge — and connect generations to their roots.

JTHOOR is an interactive digital learning platform born of a deep conviction that Arabic is not merely a means of communication, but an identity, a sense of belonging, and a bridge that connects generations to their culture and history. It grew out of a real need among Arab families living abroad, and among Muslims who are not native speakers, for a modern learning environment that helps their children learn Arabic and the language of the Qur'an in an enjoyable way suited to the digital age.

We are redefining how Arabic is learned by turning curricula into interactive journeys that bring together stories, games, and smart activities, while respecting each learner's pace and offering a personal learning experience that grows with the child step by step. The platform supports independent learning and, soon, live sessions with specialist teachers in Arabic and Islamic education for children who need extra support.

Our mission is to plant a love of Arabic in the hearts of new generations, strengthen their bond with their cultural and Islamic identity, and raise a generation proud of its language and values while keeping pace with the latest educational technology. We aspire for JTHOOR to become the first reference for teaching Arabic to the children of Arab and Muslim communities worldwide — the bridge that connects children to their roots wherever they are.

Plant your root in firm ground — so your branches can withstand the winds of estrangement.

WHAT JTHOOR OFFERS

Stage after stage — from first to sixth grade.

Arabic books — 6 stages

An integrated series of six stages, one for each grade from first to sixth, that follows a careful language progression: reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary — through interactive activities where the child listens, speaks, reads, understands, and uses the language.

Islamic education books — 6 stages

Interactive books in six stages, from first to sixth grade, that present the gentle teachings of our faith with a focus on belief, values, character, the Prophet's biography, and worship — in a way a child understands and connects to daily life.

The journey begins with the basics of the letter — its sound, shape, vowel marks, and long vowels — and grows with the child stage after stage.

A firm root, branches in the sky, and fruit within easy reach.

WHO JTHOOR IS FOR

For the children of Arab and Muslim communities — wherever they are.

We write every activity imagining a child far from home, in words that touch the heart before the mind.

Children between two languages

For those growing up abroad — Arabic grows closer when they hear it and use it every day.

Families who carry identity

For parents who want a living bond between their children and their language and faith — without pressure or rote.

From grade 1 to grade 6

A progressive path that grows with the child, in Arabic and Islamic learning.

WHERE WE STAND WITH SCHOOL

JTHOOR supports the curriculum — it doesn't replace it.

JTHOOR is a supportive companion to the official Palestinian curriculum, not a substitute for it. We take what the child learns and re-present it through living activities that cement understanding and endear the language and faith to their heart.

We believe the teacher and the family are the heart, and we are the hand that supports: we turn a lesson into an experience, and an exercise into a moment the child is proud to have finished on their own.

Their language, their faith, their roots — begin with one step.
