WHY JTHOOR EXISTS
Because roots aren't inherited by chance — they're retold every day.
Many of our children live between two languages and two worlds. They master the language of the place they grow up in, while Arabic — the language of their mother and their Qur'an — stays a little farther than we'd wish.
We built JTHOOR to close that distance gently: activities that make Arabic something lived rather than memorised, and Islamic learning that ties knowledge to meaning, in one journey a child walks with confidence.
We don't want to burden the child, but to make them feel that their language and faith are a warm home to return to — wherever they are.
OUR MISSION
We plant knowledge — and connect generations to their roots.
JTHOOR is an interactive digital learning platform born of a deep conviction that Arabic is not merely a means of communication, but an identity, a sense of belonging, and a bridge that connects generations to their culture and history. It grew out of a real need among Arab families living abroad, and among Muslims who are not native speakers, for a modern learning environment that helps their children learn Arabic and the language of the Qur'an in an enjoyable way suited to the digital age.
We are redefining how Arabic is learned by turning curricula into interactive journeys that bring together stories, games, and smart activities, while respecting each learner's pace and offering a personal learning experience that grows with the child step by step. The platform supports independent learning and, soon, live sessions with specialist teachers in Arabic and Islamic education for children who need extra support.
Our mission is to plant a love of Arabic in the hearts of new generations, strengthen their bond with their cultural and Islamic identity, and raise a generation proud of its language and values while keeping pace with the latest educational technology. We aspire for JTHOOR to become the first reference for teaching Arabic to the children of Arab and Muslim communities worldwide — the bridge that connects children to their roots wherever they are.
Plant your root in firm ground — so your branches can withstand the winds of estrangement.
